Ramp paired an iOS assessment experience with a web platform so educators could evaluate students' skills and keep progress visible outside the device where the assessment happened.

The Challenge

Assessment products often break down when the student experience and the educator experience are treated as separate tools. Students need a clean, focused interface in the moment, while teachers and administrators need a reliable way to review what was completed and what comes next.

For Ramp, that meant the project could not stop at a standalone app. The iOS experience had to work smoothly for assessment use, and it had to connect to a web platform that kept results accessible for the people tracking progress.

Our Solution

We built the iOS application and the web platform as parts of the same workflow. On mobile, the product focused on giving students a dedicated assessment experience. On the web side, educators had a place to review progress and use the information gathered during those assessments.

That approach kept the product grounded in how it would actually be used: assessment activity on iOS, followed by visibility and follow-up through the browser.
